May 11, 2009   International movie star, who wished to remain nameless, is playing the Jungle course today.  Very nice guy, really nice to all the staff.

May 18, 2009  An ask the pro question received via email.
"What is Green Meadow's tee time booking policy?"
Green Meadow only takes tee times on Saturday and Sunday and National Holidays.  We take reservations one week in advance in person only and then the Monday prior over the phone.  We require a credit card number in order to hold your tee time and we have a 24 no show policy.

May 28, 2009  Here's another question received via email
"Hello, I've heard that at Green Meadow you can play all day for one price, is that true?"

Here at Green Meadow Golf Club we boast two 18 hole golf courses and many people take advantage of our great conditions and excellent courses to play more than 18 holes in a single day.  Our policy is that your greens fee is good for the entire day.  The only additional expense that you will incur is if you are using a power cart.  You must pay for your cart for whatever number of holes you are playing.

June 2, 2009  Both courses are in great shape as the warm weather and cool nights make for ideal grass growing conditions.  We have been hearing lots of positive feedback in the pro shop for the last few weeks regarding our conditions.  Please come check us out soon.

June 9, 2009  The internet is a great resource for weather information:  The forecast for the next few days is pretty dire, however, if you use any of the available doppler radar websites you can more accurately predict how the day will really turn out.  Today was forecast to be cold and rainy all day long.  In actuality it hasn't rained since 10:30 a.m. and it is now 5 p.m.  By checking the radar at 9 a.m. I knew that it was going to stop raining soon and the rest of the day would be playable.  Do not let a scary forecast, often times given days in advance, keep you from coming out to play!

June 22, 2009  Given the weather recently we have received a number of questions regarding our rain check policy.  Here at Green Meadow we have an extremely fair rain check policy of giving you credit for whatever holes you haven't played.  If you pay for 18 holes and only get 7 holes in we will give you a dollar amount credit that you can apply to your next round of golf.  This policy insures that you receive fair credit for any holes that you did not play.
